The company
IEX is the largest financial portal in the Netherlands. The websites www.iex.nl, www.debeurs.nl, www.guruwatch.nl, www.eurobench.com and www.beloggen.nl and various newsletters keep the subscribers continuously up-to-date of the latest developments in financial markets, corporate news, opinions of columnists and the newest investment products. Since November 2004, IEX publishes an investment magazine with a circulation of 45.000 editions, 8 times per year. Investors can also consult a wide range of stock markets, including Euronext, London and New York.

The situation
IEX was looking for an organisation that could provide all necessary price and related information for publication on its various websites. There was also a need for a program that was easy to order and provides real-time price information at low cost. IEX is always on the lookout for new components that provide the investor extra information in a more efficient manner.

The solutions
vwd group offers IEX a number of solutions for the supply of price information. The data provided by vwd group through publication on the website includes all shares of Euronext Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and Lisbon, AEX options, listed and non-listed investment funds, international indices, warrants and bonds and news reports from Betten News.

vwd group also delivered the share-price system ERIS Web to IEX. This web-based application shows real-time prices and news in a simple but efficient manner.

Furthermore, IEX and vwd group are always looking for new ways to show the price information. Both organizations are always on the lookout for new solutions. .

The implementation
IEX and vwd group have decided, in close consultation, which solution is to be implemented with the relevant information and components. This includes the technical supply, design, content, functionalities, and includes further consultation on future adjustments and new components.
