Dexia Bank NV uses various tailor-made data files from vwd group. These files containing comprehensive and specific fund information are supplied on a daily basis.

The situation
Under the terms of the European guidelines concerning the savings tax laws, Dexia has a need for information reporting the amount and stipulations of the imposed taxes for all investment funds commercialised in Belgium.

The solution
vwd group has a comprehensive database with information on investment funds. The database is not only complete in the number of covered investment funds; it also contains a high volume of in-depth information about the funds. This includes information concerning TIS (Taxable Income per Share) and TID (Taxable Income per Dividend).

The implementation
vwd group composes a file with up-to-date information that is automatically processed in the internal banking systems at Dexia on a daily basis. The format of the file to be delivered was determined in close consultation with Dexia. Because of the flexibility of our database we are able to adjust the feed to the specific situation of each customer.
